Rover 25 / 45 / ZR / ZS / TF Suppressor for Technical Tip TT0121 - XBS000040 - Genuine MG Rover
In stock.
This item is used to address technical tip TT0121 - an issue where use of the intermittent wipe setting on cars fitted with the Pektron BCU (all cars with the round keyfob) can cause erroneous activation of the boot release or odd behaviour of foglights etc.
The issue is caused by the intermittent wiper setting sending a voltage spike back to the BCU - the control unit doesn't have any kind of integrated suppression leading to odd activation of functions controlled by the BCU.
Thankfully the fix is easy and cheap - this kit contains all you'll need to resolve the problem along with printed instructions including pictures.
Usually this kit contains only the suppressor, however if purchased from us you'll also receive the connector needed to attach it to the wiring loom (YPC116330) along with printed instructions - all at the same price charged for XBS000040 elsewhere.
