This Gear Linkage Polybush Kit is for the PG1 gear linkage used in several MG / Austin / Rover cars. 
It is design to remove "slop" and "slack" that is common in PG1 linkages as they age. This product should tighten up the action of the gearbox and deliver a far more positive feel.

Use this in conjunction with our PG1 Gear Linkage Rebuild Kit for an incredibly smooth and tight gear shift!

Replacement bushes are hard to find - the good news is you can now replace yours with hard-wearing polybushes for a fantastic price! 

Includes both bushes as pictured. 

The PG1 gearbox was used on all 1.8 / 2.0 / 2.5 variants of the following vehicles: 

Rover - 218vi, 200BRM, 220, 420, 620ti, 820, 825, 25, 45, Streetwise

MG - ZR, ZS, Express

Austin - Maestro & Montego EFI and Diesel

Land Rover - Freelander 1

This part DOES NOT FIT the MG F and MG TF. These use cables rather than a selector rod, so this kit won't work. 

This kit will also not fit the 1.1 / 1.4 / 1.6 variants of any MG Rover vehicle - these used either the R65 or IB5 gearbox which uses a different gear linkage.
