These are the socket into which the Scuttle Panel Clips (EYC101470PMA) on the Rover 75 / MG ZT clip into - they common leak or break with age, and until now were quite expensive. 
When broken, these sockets allow water to enter the car's cabin below the windscreen. 

Available now for less than the usual RRP - ideal if yours have seen better days!
